Reused Shutters or The Way How to Exploit Them?

Old shutters are quite often leftovers after reconstruction of homes.
Sometimes you might find them thrown away (which I don't understand how is this possible) or very often in flea markets costing a few "moneys".  If you are lucky enough you may discover ones which remember the story of certain ages.

Vintage rustic shutters are made from solid wood so no way it can be treated as waste. It is a piece of home, garden, spot, nook... decoration!

Somewhere I found a very nice expression which I think is just right when it comes to shutters: "Trash to Treasures"!
Take a tour to charming appeal for home decor!

How about this Easter Table Decoration?

Hello to all friends!

At this moment when I'm typing this post, EpicLinen is about to hit 300 likes at Facebook.
Hurray! We keep moving forward and that
keeps me very motivated!

I hope you had a lovely week!
How is your weekend going so far?

I had a quite busy and very stresfull week here. But all sorted now.
Lots of ideas for Easter holiday going around.
Preparations.
Have you done all the preparations yet?
All the detailed plans and lists made?

The festivity starts with spring, joy and sunshine in our hearts!

Pull out the spring decorations and table linens.

Bring lots of freshness into home and especially on your table and all around you, the place where you celebrate your spring holidays.

Natural elements echoed on the table allow
beauty of nature to shine.

Prepare your home for spring!
Prepare your dinning table for spring!

I think Easter fete is not only about Easter eggs,
Easter bunnies and other kitschy things...
...it is about the renaissance of our souls after long
long deep cold winter.

Some Easter motives and ornaments are required for sure!

I do like natural details, patterns combined with elements from nature...
with sprouts...
with blossom...

Honestly, I was in need for lightness so I brought in light hues, silver, white, beige colors together along with greeny adjustments.

All vases gathered together adds chic charm to this Easter table arrangement and to any other occasionally setting.
This is like an oasis of greeness!

All photos made by my lovely husband +Mindaugas Zumas
He has a talent for this as it is one of his passion.

Happy Sunday!
Sharing my springy love with you!

Styling the Food

What comes to your mind once to think about food styling?
It's hard to tell me but I'm nearly sure your answer would be:
'it's complicated'!

This is not only about putting dish on the plate but also making to look attractive! very attractive!!

Food styling is combined with collaborative efforts including a photographer, an artist, a food stylist, usually also a proper stylist and their assistants.

All efforts are taken carefully to artfully arrange the food.

Hope you are already inspired after this visit and have intentions to learn and try to do some incredible things by yourself!
